My name is Cat, and I am an actor, athlete and fashion/costume designer living in Perth, Western Australia.

Being a track runner, currently completing my fitness qualification, my aim is to inspire young women to continue to exercise for health and wellbeing.

​

I recently graduated from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (costume specialisation) and am currently studying a Masters of Strategic Communication at UWA.

​

I have worked on performances in film, television and theatre and am very passionate about reusing existing costumes and repurposing clothes.

 

I have achieved national success in wearable art and my pieces have been on display in numerous gallery exhibitions including The Art Gallery of Western Australia. I was nominated recently for a Visionary Costume Designer award recognising my work on a short film.

As I become more educated and aware of the sustainability issues in fashion, I am keen to develop expertise and implement strategies within my field.

I had the opportunity to showcase a collection of wearable art in a Sydney Fashion Show in 2022 that incorporated some repurposed elements. This inspired me to explore opportunities to incorporate greater sustainable aspects to educate and upskill myself on the importance of environmental awareness in fashion.
