Miss World Australia
I have been selected as a Western Australian National Finalist for Miss World Australia 2025.
Miss World aims to promote Beauty with a Purpose to encourage women to live a compassionate and humanitarian life. Charity work is integral to the Miss World ethos and part of the brief to contenders in each country is that they volunteer their time and fundraise within their communities.

Miss World Australia is a proud and passionate partner of Variety – the Children’s Charity. Variety supports kids and families who are facing many challenges through sickness, disadvantage or living with disability.
I am enthusiastic about creating awareness for such an honourable cause in our community and am currently a member of the Variety WA Events Committee.

SD: Hi Cat. Can you introduce yourself to my readers who don’t know you yet?
CS: Hello! My name is Cat Jane Shepherd and I’m an actor, model, and costume designer from Perth, Western Australia. I have a Bachelor of Performing Arts from WAAPA and am currently studying a Master of Strategic Communication at UWA. I am a track runner and bikini bodybuilder who writes romcoms in my spare time, publishing online as Ivy Kix. Recently I have developed the Cat Jane Sustain website, which includes information on sustainable fashion, art for wellbeing and my Miss World Australia Beauty with a Purpose Initiative.

FINALS WEEK
MISS WORLD AUSTRALIA NATIONAL FINALS WEEK
In November 2025 I joined 35 other women at the Miss World Australia National Finals, held in Melbourne. The week consisted of a welcome dinner followed by rehearsals, experiences and multiple challenges such as Top Model, Talent, Multimedia, Sports, Beauty With a Purpose, Peoples Choice and Head to Head.
