Is the Fashion Industry Polluting the Earth?
Each step towards making new clothes has a negative impact on the environment. Textile waste is a growing issue with the rise of fast fashion and over consumption. Ten percent of carbon emissions caused by humans are from fashion production.

In reference to a recent report made "by the Australia Fashion Council, about 227,000 tonnes of discarded clothing" goes into landfill per year in Australia.
