Variety WA Match Day

On Wednesday I volunteered for Variety WA at Dome in Deep Water Point to celebrate Match Day.

Every dollar donated was matched thanks to a generous donor - doubling the impact for WA kids in need.

I started the day as the Variety WA mascot Sheridan and was overwhelmed by the excitement of the children as I waved to them as a big teddy bear.

Then I had the privilege of speaking to Simon Beaumont from 6PR, alongside Katie O'Donnell broadcasting on radio to discuss my involvement with Variety as a past intern with the WA team and as a current volunteer, also on the Events Committee.

It was a wonderful and successful day and once again Variety WA held a fabulous event!
